iPhone 5 battery life 🔋

Anyone else find the 5's battery life absolutely terrible?
I've had the 5 for About 2-3 months. Honestly, in not that impressed by the phone. The batter life on my 3GS was wayyyyy better than this. I can't even make 8 hours with light usage.
Any tips and tricks? Been reading online, seems to be a common problem.

Here are a few I did,
In privacy settings check what apps use location settings.
Turn off the ones you don't really need.Check that Bluetooth is not on.
Turn off wifi when you leave the house.Don't have the screen too bright either.

Screen brightness worked for me.

My mom has this problem with her iPhone 5. I did what hyena suggested up there and it squeezed a couple more hours out of it.

I don't have battery problems. Although my last idevice was a iPod 3gen. so that's most likely why I don't notice.

Something else that's just generally better for your battery is fully charging it when you do charge it

Check your notifications in settings. They should be kept to a minimum. Notifications are always searching for badges etc, which uses battery.

Yes I'm not overly impressed with battery life - think I get 3-4 hours under heavy usage - and recently had a few times where battery was reporting 20% remaining and it then powered itself off - plug in charger and the phone starts back up with 20% - grrrrr

But healing really hasn't improved for me - actually takes longer to get in to turf screen and on most occasions the turf is gone before I can heal 😞 although thought this may be related to my fat slow fingers

Get the app called "Boost Magic" I don't care what anyone says it works, I have in on 2 iPods and my iPhone 5 and nothing compares to it. If I ever have to adjust any setting it's usually only the brightness

On another note, seeing as I'm already griping, I also hate all service providers. They're pathetic: never coming even close to their claimed 'high speed connections'. They're not providing service, they're being paid to screw people over. Brilliant.

Fixes an Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life. -
New I phones only have a certain amount times you can charge it. When you charge your phone, your only suppose to charge it when you need to. So when your batter hits 10-35% you charge. The battery won't die as fast, nor decrease the battery life.

Did you completely drain the battery already? Mine was on 1% for a looooong time. After draining 2 or 3 times the battery life indicator was more accurate.
Besides this I did what Marilyn wrote earlier. -
