I have a hard time opening my disc reader to insert discs. Is there an way to fix this or just wait and buy Xbox 720 or PS4?
-
My housemates does it from time to time. Have to shift it over a little.
Replacing it isn't too difficult and many shops will do it for you for a minimal fee.

Step 1:Get a hammer
Step 2:Beat the shit out of the Xbox
Step 3:Douse the pieces in water
Step 4:Get a box of industrial size super glue
Step 5:Cover everything in the glue and let it dry for 24 hoursThis should fix your problem!

Why does everyone love PCs so much? Sure they're powerful, but they're not nearly as convenient as a console.

And I have a gaming pc... That I built myself. -
I think age is taking its toll. It's 4 years old. Pushing the open button don't work half the time.

They are though.. convenient, customizable, and all around the best choice for gaming 100% unless you play consoles for exclusives. Your problem is the fact that you spent money on a Microsoft product. That's where you really went wrong.
-
The problem is your getting a shit computer, that's why it's cheap. Why would you want a lag machine? I spent around 2,700 on my computer.

Tap lightly on top of the Xbox directly above the disc tray. I have the same problem and doing the tapping thing usually gets it to open.I think age is taking its toll. It's 4 years old. Pushing the open button don't work half the time.

Buy a new one they're like 200 bucks. I assumed mine was broken because I didn't play it for 6 months and bought a new one. Now I have two lol -

I have the same problem also. I usually tap the chrome part while continuously pressing the open button. If that doesn't work I just pry it open carefully.

Lol damn bro seriously? If that's really the case then I suggest you guys all really give a ps3 some consideration. I've had mine for 4 years. Never a problem. Nothing. Works like a charm. Plenty of memory. Fantastic graphics.I have the same problem also. I usually tap the chrome part while continuously pressing the open button. If that doesn't work I just pry it open carefully.
And I like some Xbox games. But I won't buy one. -
