You are all figments of my imagination.
Forums › General Discussion › You are all figments of my imagination.-
Indeed, we are all figments of our own imaginations. Not only are we figments of our own imaginations, we are also figments of each other's imaginations. When I imagine that I am eating a meal, food disappears from the subconscious of all other figments' imaginations.
The most amazing thing of all is not our own imaginary existence, but the imaginary existence of the entire universe.I will continue. Please refrain from interrupting. There will be time at the end of this seminar for questions.
-
No imagination is perfect. Therefore, no imagined thing is perfect. Those of you who imagine yourselves colourblind are in fact normal figments of the collective imaginations of the universe, if you may, but your imagination tricks you into thinking that you see all things the same as to how other imaginations see them.
Just as your imagination deems a computer to be 'glitchy', so is your imagination and those of all other figments of the universe. No two imaginations are perfectly linked, and thus, no two imaginary figments may see things perfectly the same. -
For example, your imagination may project the image of a tree in your front yard, and other imaginary figments will 'see' said tree. However, the tree that they see will be unique to their imagination. Should you count every leaf on it and allow them to know the figure that you imagine yourself to have counted, their imagination will adjust the image of the tree that they see to fit your projected number of leaves.
-
An interesting note may be interjected here, on the subject of alcohol. An imagination can be made to relax by 'feeding' it with alcohol. This temporarily damages the link between it and all other imaginations. The image of the tree that your imagination has projected into your front yard may or may not be sensed by an imagination that has been relaxed through being fed alcohol, until the imagination of the affected figment comes exceedingly close to the image of the tree. At this time, the signal being projected by your imagination is strong enough that the relaxed imagination can sense it, and react accordingly. Depending on the state of relaxation, this could involve rapid, uncoordinated evasive action, or collision.
-
Love is an interesting state of imagination.
When two or more figments voluntarily spend regular or large amounts of time imagining themselves to be together, they often begin to imagine a special link to have formed between their subconscious. They might begin to imagine themselves in a state of 'love', where it is difficult for the imagination to focus on anything other than the other figment. This state of the imagination is difficult to understand, and may be discussed in more depth in a later module of study. -
Emotions are perhaps the most abstract and difficult states of the imagination to exist. Based purely on the collective projected surroundings of individual imaginations, figments will 'feel' emotions. These can be, but are not limited to, love (previously discussed), hate, anger, joy and fear. Each emotion could take entire books to fill, and the imaginations of figments dedicated to the projected field of study of science still do not entirely understand them.
If you imagine yourself to have any queries, please project them so that we may attempt to shed light upon them.

Are imagined colors the same for everyone? For example, is my blue the same as your blue?

Excellent question. Let me answer with a question of my own.Are imagined colors the same for everyone? For example, is my blue the same as your blue?
What colour do you imagine the sky to be on a clear day, with the sun shining and no clouds overhead?
If I may, I imagine it to be blue, and I dare say few figments would disagree.

What if I imagine someone else is imagining something? 😜

I must say the for the imagination known as Mr BC to put this in the imagination known as Turfa to be shared with the collective imaginations imagining that they see this thread whilst imagining they sit in OTB's imaginary trousers is quite impressive to this imagination....

If I may project more imagery, being this, you imagine the sky and call it blue, being synonymous with I and the vast majority of imaginations present. Your projected imagination is null and void, Sir.

Does reality come into play here at all. Lets revisit the alcohol induced "relaxation" of the imagination. Wouldn't the void left by the relaxation let reality seep in? In essence the more intoxicated we become the more we see how things really are.

Au contrair, reality is only as you imagine it to be. Reality is the meshing of the combined imaginations of all the universe, thus reality may be projected differently each moment, and as figments of our own imaginations we would fail to see any miscontinuity, but rather 'reality' as it has 'always' been. For what is more powerful than collective imaginations projecting an entire universe capable of holding said imaginations and figments therewith? Power is imagined as a corruptive force, for indeed it is, corrupting the imaginations of all figments and convincing them that reality is whatever they imagine each second.Does reality come into play here at all. Lets revisit the alcohol induced "relaxation" of the imagination. Wouldn't the void left by the relaxation let reality seep in? In essence the more intoxicated we become the more we see how things really are.

I imagine that there is truth to your statement

Where do the concepts of "truth" and "lies" come into this theory of yours? What exactly is "truth?"

So if you're saying that we are all imagined and there is no reality who or what is doing the imagining? 😜
