Why can't my phone connect to the Internet?

I go to settings, go to Wifi, I see the name of my Internet on the list so I tap it. It loads and then says "cannot connect to [name of internet]". I can see it on the list. I can connect to my neighbor's Internet. Why can't I get my own Internet that is way better then my neighbor's? My brother can connect to it and has the exact same phone as me. Any ideas?

Sometimes iPhones bug. Try power off then back on. That fixes most problems

Unplug the power cord from the WiFi and plug it back in. Used to happen to me.

I would do that but my brother is on the PS3 and it would make him lose connection. I just turned it off and in but still can't connect.

Which cord is this exactly?I'm looking back by where my computer/wifi crap is at and it's got a lot of plugs. Lol

There is an iOS bug out now. I've been having the same problem with my ipad, I can connect at home to one of my networks (I have 2 on the same apple router) but that's it. No other wifi works. Anywhere.

Look on the apple support forums, this is happening to a lot of people, with all different iOS devices.

I called apple care, they didn't have anything helpful to say. There are no reliable fixes that anyone has found.

Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come with the post Steve jobs apple products.

Okay I think I fixed it. All I did is select "other" and type in my network name and password etc, then it let me join it.
