  I am Somewhat a frequent listener of Rap, but some songs leave me scratching my head like WTF are they talking about. A perfect example is (Rack City) very catchy song but then I find myself thinking where the F*** is Rack City? I want to start a business in Rack City so people will come drop millions in my pocket.

  Bob Marley's music is powerful and inspiring. Back in the late 70's, he held the 'One Love Peace Concert' at the National Stadium in Kingston,Jamaica with the Wailers. The concert was held during a Political Civil War in Jamaica between opposing political parties. The peak of the concert came when Bob Marley joined the hands of the political rivals on stage, and united them through his music. To accomplish a feat such as that says a lot about the man and his music. Did you know that he endured a lot of criticism and hate growing up because his father was White and his mother was Jamaican? Not many people know that. His upbringing molded and inspired him to love everyone equally and believe in unity. I wouldn't dislike something you dont understand. 😉

  Thanks for explaining the meaning of the song. Still sounds bad, but can appreciate what he accomplished.

  Buffalo Soldiers was the name given to the African American soldiers who fought in the Native American conflicts back in the 1800's. The Natives gave them the nickname because their dark skin and hair reminded them of Buffalo. The 1st verse of the song tells about how the Africans were brought there to fight against their will. Initially, they fought to stay alive in this Country. Later they were forced to fight the war for America and kill the natives. In the song, Marley sings "Then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the 'eck do I think I am." He is speaking out for the African Americans who weren't treated as equals. "I'm just a Buffalo Soldier.. Win the war for America." reminds us that the African Americans were instrumental in building America. Not even close to being a terrible song.
