Shutting down airports.
Hear me out...
Totally understand with international airports, with the keeping foreigners out and whatnot. But I've seen a few domestic only airports being shut down recently. My question is why? What do you stand to gain? Keep the locals in so the big players can cap the little players...and bring down the income?
Also should note that the couple of places I've seen it happen, the international airport is already shut down...so why bother with a domestic if you can't get out of the country anyway?

Because they can, and you can't do anything about it unless you punch a lot of codes and force it open.

Both fair and valid points. Thank you 👍The real question is:
Why not?

People have enemies within the same country. Just because I'm an American doesn't mean all my enemies are from UK

No more airports!!! 🔥🔥

Airports or not people travel the world and work worldwide, being on foreign soil is no big deal and just another edge to the game, after all it's a GPS game.

You can attack someone's turf to reduce its influence, which then gives you a chance to plant in the space created, then you start capping some a$$ 👍

You know, that's not exactly how the game mechanics work.

I think because they don't want their enemies to get in and be able to fight or cap them. But domestic (not valid in game) airports, someone could just be capo hunting.

So it is... i was getting confused with the build radius & influence ring, only way is to mob up and smash you way in then and if its on a island thats been locked out you need to start speaking nice to some of the natives to make space for you.

Most people will let you in that airport if you ask, but you better hop away fast or else someone who is helping shut down that airport notices and takes your turf.

Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
