Horrible Returns
Forums › General Discussion › Horrible Returns-
I understand the returns are supposed to get worse as I mob up but c'mon this is WAY too bad... I punched 4000 codes in the last 24 hours and the return so far seems to be of 500 ??? And the worst part is I hadn't punched in a while so I did punch a lot of new codes that had accumulated during the time I didn't punch.... This is VERY demotivating ... anyone else getting shitty returns lately?

Well some people like me come on every now and then and accept so you should be seeing a greater return rate over a longer amount of time possibly

Some people put codes on icm of inactive players. It seems more and more people are doing this. Just stick to punching temp codes if you want better returns. 👍
Or if you want to punch the regular codes enter the code, when it says you just invited player to your mob run a search or that player. If player doesn't pop up you know this player is inactive. If you do this a few times you will see who is posting good codes and who is not. Then you can ignore all codes this/these people are posting. Enjoy.

When you don't punch for long periods of time, a week or more.. People quit. They will no longer accept invites. To get the best returns, you must keep current (1-2 days) on codes.
-
I do not have a very big problem with returns. I don't know why everyone else does

I have an invite from you, but I can't accept it until you pass the background check and go through our hiring process.

Stop keeping track. I've never kept track of the exact number or time I spend punching. Not obsessing over return rates typically keeps me from getting discouraged. All I can tell you is that when I stay current, I average 1k about every 2 weeks.

I'm still getting wonderful returns, I don't know what you're doing.

And I blame you and your thread for the current situation. Remember you complained when Automechguru did this and the final outcome was Atla announced he was quitting posting!!!! But like Mystery says my mob count still goes up 1k every couple of weeks so I will still take whatever codes I can get.Funky Buffalo wrote:

Mine are low but istill punch.

I agree with Mystery and Fachan 👊👊

I am punching antiques and temps daily and getting around 800 a week or so. I feel fine with that sort of a return. As far as the codes on ICM if its valid i will punch it. The ones that annoy me are the totally fake codes that players put on.
-
Returns are fine btw - there's no such thing as free lunc so earn your mob like everyone before you has done. The simple fact is the more you punch the more opportunity you have to add... But this negative "press" you are creating hurts everyone so please delete this...

Go ahead and blame me but it's not my fault. Auto was not the first. He noticed other people doing it as did others. I warned you guys in the thread that all the copy cats who were lazy were gonna notice and do it. More people use ICM than read my thread, that's where it got picked up. It wasn't hard to notice the trend and copy it. In fact I like to think my thread deterred the people from doing them 50+ at a time. Didn't you defend Auto? Your the one who told me you wanted any code you could get. And when I argued my point/opinion about it y'all called me a troll. Easy to blame my thread but the trend was already started, go read it again. Maybe I blame you for defending Auto. "Jeeze Fachan if you hadn't told everyone it was alright to do and that you were happy for the codes than we wouldn't have this problem." see don't go placing blame without thinking it through man.
Atla? Palease! That was WEEKS after my thread.

Temps and reg codes are good. I punch about 120-140 and get roughly 100 mob. It's all good. Remember those 100's stack up and you will pass the 1K's soon.
-
And Fachan, you told me to take the good with the bad about codes so I took neither, I stopped punching regulars my growth all but halted and now that, in my opinion, those codes aren't being posted as much I started again. I punch all the new codes and take the good with the bad like you said. But doesn't this always happen, after a rush of new Idevices show up they slow down? So mob growth is slow. It was slow last year at certain times too. But maybe I perceived it wrong?

Is it best to sort the codes by date added or by code rank?
-

I say code rank. That way you get the players that have added codes and bumped up.DonEpic wrote:

Of course!!! I would do all numerical codes and alphas before you really deep into ICM. Also code length is a "fun" one. You can really fly through the two and three letter codes.porksoda wrote:
