  Alright people are blowing things way out of proportion... You appear to be a really good student so I don't think skipping a day is a big deal.

  My advice is if you have a lenient mother just ask her to have a day off, or if that won't fly and she won't ask to many questions say it's a tummy ache, because it is tough to argue ;)

  Or pull an all nighter playing and be a zombie at school for a day, no biggie
