Do you truly know what you were talking about? I mean I know your quote here is half deleted but right there you said "cut social security and unemployment", so yes you were talking about SS.
And really, read a history book. We've already tried no safety nets. We did so well with it.
This theory is even more off base than the flat tax one. Completely devoid of knowledge of our system, economics and history.

Just cut it all! Sure it'll fix our debt; nevermind the resounding effect it would have on our society.

Not exactly. The loans you are talking about were to those states who didn't adequately fund their own portion of benefits and thus had to borrow from the Feds to make up the difference. The states never pay back the portion that the Fed is normally on the hook for.
And big guess what color the majority of those states are. Lolol. I'll give you guys a hint, not blue. ;P

No don't cut ssi, for ssi, welfare and other free government programs imposes random drug test . After all we workers have to take the to get a job and pay these benefits, so those that receive them should. Watch how many people lose a free ride and have to get jobs to eat
