We did a home brew a few weeks ago right. Did it all right. It was the Tooheys new brew. So we got to the stage if bottling. In all the old soft drink containers. And when we came to drink some a week or two later. It had a licorish taste
to it. It was accualy quite nice. Turns out we didn wash out th sarapirella bottle.... My pointless thread for the fortnight..😼

Ive got a homebrew chilli beer thats been down for about 3 months.. Should be awesome come summer ;)

I doubt you sanitized the bottles properly so the idea that you and your slow witted friends are getting closer to poisoning yourselves with every drink you take is funny to me.
