That's the only way you could solve it is for X. Instructions should have been factor℘ཞعϮϮყ_ცօყ wrote:

x/9^23

Pretty boy is right, the instructions were vague, and factoring is the correct approach to take. The question should have guided people not to attempt to solve for x.ནཝཇངᎯངᎿཔᎦ༽༨རསཁྭ wrote:

If X is even relevant at this point, you can't find for X because 9x^2-25 doesn't have an equal sign in it making it solvable, X could be anything. But it seems we've already stated that the question isn't Find X.9x^2-25
Solve it. Winner gets a cookie. -

It's difference of squares. I can see where people got confused with me saying solve. I should've said factor or simplify.More detail required! Everyone is assuming its a sum. There is no value the sum need match so the answer is anything. However it may be a code, and the answer is a word.

The actual reasoning for this was to test the effectiveness of the help forum. If you go over there, you'll see that it has been 20 hours and I didn't receive nearly the variety of answers that I got here.

That's as it's help and strategy related to the game. People that saw it there would ignore it, or if they wana comment, leave the comment in GD

Difference of squares (3x+5)(3x-5)

I read the question as 9 (x)^2 -25. In that case it's simple! Divide out the x squared, 9-25 is 16. Square root the whole thing and x is 4.

If you factored out an x squared from 9(x)^2, then you would have to factor out an x squared from -25. Can't.mojopilot wrote:

Just use Wolframalpha google it, best shit ever

x+5i/3
x-5i/3If you're asking to simplify that's all you can do. If you meant to set it to zero, than x=5i/3 and x=-5i/3
