I started doing construction work on the perpetual remodeling job that is my parent's house when I was six. (39 years later, it's still not done.) At eight I started mowing lawns for half the neighborhood. I started installing kitchen cabinets at my parent's cabinet installation business when I was ten. But my first "official" job (W2s and everything) was as a librarian at 16.
