Honestly I hated that song... It's not up to par with his songs on raw. Ghetto monstazz listen to pans in the kitchen, ill mind of hopsin 4 and 5, am I a psycho, you are my enemy, sag my pants, and how you like me now. I'm not a big fan if swizzz but I think hopsin is awesomeSearch HopsinFV on YouTube, new 2013 funk volume collab music video.
It wasn't his song, it's FV 2013.
I have Raw and it's a shame that the Ill Minds aren't on iTunes. SwizZz isn't my favorite but he's getting better. -

also it seems like he tries to draw attention to himself by hating on popular rappers, or eazy e's wife.also, extremely straightforward. nothing new.

Anyway i'm still bumping kendrick lamar's good kid maad city. Best rap album of 2012 for sure
-
d12 and tech n9ne not mainstream? are you sure?
-
Lol that whole list is garbage recycled studio gangster rap. Hiphop died a the end of the ninties, which I assume is when you were born lol
-
Both are pretty crappy. Check out Eminem's Infinite album for REAL rap.

Now that's a lyrically talented album, the only problem is i feel it lacks that oomf. And he jacks nas' flow on it i feel. But excellent album none the less. shame they are fairly hard to drop on, especially the original 96' ones✂. Check out Eminem's Infinite album for REAL rap.

And i'm sorry mayhem i disagree with you their. the golden age of hip hop may have finished some time ago, but there is still decent stuff being made. hip hop isn't dead, and with fresh names with new ideas means things may change abit, but its not dead. people like J.Cole are the future, and will make sure it wont die anytime soon.✂. I just hope J. Cole doesn't let the fame get to his head. That's what happened to Wale and Big Sean and it's sad to hear them rapping about the same mainstream BS.★MΛΥΗΞΜ★ wrote:

and @monkeyin2tuxedo ... you say j.cole aint that good? his wordplay is a level above, and he is a more thoughtful rapper, not just hoes and chains. Yes i do like big sean and wale also. And a big 👍 up to k lamar.

Tech n9ne is kinda mainstream now but he wasn't and his old is still hard.

Hip hop ain't dead yet, you just need to know where to look. Artists like Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Joey Badass, Joe Budden and Ab-Soul are what people should be listening to. I'm actually glad that some of these incredibly articulate rappers are actually getting airplay after nearly a decade of terrible hip hop.
-
ffs. mf doom is still around. that guy puts out so much good shit you could listen to just his discography and never get tired of it.
-
yep king singh i agree 100% . 2013 should be a good year for hip hop, with anticipated cds dropping from a variety of artists, and hopefully fifty will deliver with street king immortal. and joe budden has a new album dropping soon, same with j.cole.

OneManArmy destroys J.Coles entire career in one verse.I make it harder for the next emcee that's my specialty
Rappers better be tryin ta rap ahead of me
I'm a hard act to follow I could prove it medically
I'm sick in the head I could move a crowd with mental telepathy
2nd last verse in the song read the lyrics as you listen. I have a very different view of hiphop, jayz and his shitty record label have no place in hiphop in my opinion. -
