-why am I an American just because I was born in America?
-or was I an American because I was conceived in America?
-would I be French if my parents fucked in France, but I was born in America?
-when did I ever agree to be a citizen of anywhere?
-why can I be held accountable for breaking laws which were last updated before I was born?Just a few things I think about that sound totally like hippy communist bullshit outloud.
-
-how much of my reality is based on information I've been told, but will never see?
-is 95% too high an estimate?
-if a bunch of people wanted to, could they create historical events that never occurred without the next generation noticing?
-I mean how many things do we assume occurred just because dead people claimed they happened?... What if titanic never happened?
-google titanic and Titan. Maybe the story about the Titan was just a rough draft of what we historically understand. I mean have any of you ever seen the titanic in realsies?
-will you ever be given the chance?
-is there actually a yes? I don't want to make an ass outta myself if any of you have actually seen the titanic... I'm pretty much going out on a limb and assume none of you have... -
Lol... Good read..
-
-totally off topic, but why do water parks and amusement parks suddenly require my thumb print in order to enter?
-I mean think about it. What could be the actual reason Disney needs to book me before I can enter Disney world?
-Is making sure my ticket matches my fingerprint required? I mean you buy the ticket 20 yards from the entrance...
-were there instances of people getting their tickets stolen in that 20 yards?
-why is this tolerated?
-is consenting to this really worth the temporary excitement of Disney world? -
-why do police in the suburbs get more funding than those in the city.
-would police in urban areas make better use out of those bulletproof vests or Chargers than police with lower crime rates per capita?
-why aren't better mental health care services being provided to police, and military personnel?
-why does America have a two party system?
-why does the greatest country on earth have only two choices to vote for?
-are things actually that black and white?
-are the two candidates really all that different? -
-is it possible we missed something in our basic understanding of reality.
-have we assumed our mastery of a subject without having all the facts?
-could the basics of our current understanding be different than the things we perceive?
-are we actually able to see objects directly? Or are we merely seeing the light bouncing off it?
-I'm fairly certain I'm only seeing the light considering what happens if I stand in a totally dark room..Wow I never actually realized that before... I've never actually seen anything directly.
-what else is right in front of me that I can't perceive?
-are concepts and thoughts a part of existence?
-or do they only belong to ourselves?
-are humans broken or were we meant to contradict our nature for some other reason?
-do our actions prove intelligent design? -

It's what we are told. That seems to be good enough for most people. I however have no why or why not for this phenomenon.-Is the USofA REALLY the greatest country on earth?

Baffles me. -
- Is it better to have gone on the Disney Mission space ride before or after learning that it is actually a centrifuge that has killed two people with pre-existing conditions (one a 4 year old with what turned out to be a congenital heart problem)?
- does anyone actually pay attention to ride warnings anymore?
- does your imagination take you down dark passages after reading this news clip? ... "On June 7, 2009, a 60-year-old man from Cressona, Pennsylvania allegedly touched Minnie Mouse while he was visiting the Magic Kingdom. He was convicted of misdemeanor battery on August 11, 2009.[87]" -
Disney are awaiting a suitable host for Walts frozen brain.

I've seriously spent a lot of time wondering that. I mean I started by asking whether what I see as blue, is actually a shade darker than your blue. But then I realized you could be seeing blue, when I see red. Either way how could we actually know without a standard reference which could be perceived the same way by all of us? What if the world looks completely different to each of us?is my 'blue' the same as your 'blue?
Anyway nice post. That has always been one of those things I can't figure out. -

-what has humanity miss out on because of the monetary system?
-is time relevant to physics or are all our understandings based on a pattern that just so happens to come close to the actually answer, yet has no place for our concept of time as we describe it?
-if someone placed a numerological value to specific words, and wrote a book based on these values, would anyone even notice anything beyond the story? -
There is a rip in my shirt that I am at a loss to explain. I am even more puzzled by the existence of everything.

What will be the next form of communication, will language as we know it be a thing of the past? Is there a more efficient way of communicating than writing or vocalization?

If an ant can't perceive us what can't we perceive??

I need to be high to answer your questions.... 😋

Has anyone else pondered that atom looked like solar systems? Are we just sitting on an atom to something so big we can't perceive it? If so I hope we are not near the arse....

Great post Greenman. I suggest you read John Locke's an Essay on Human Understanding or basically anything by Bertrand Russell, who took a large chunk of his philosophical foundation from Locke.
Locke basically argued that the world is tasteless, odorless, colorless, and silent. All tastes, odors, colors, and sounds occurred within our own mind based on our perceptions of reality and understanding of the outside world. And all of those things, described as secondary qualities, were ultimately subjective to the individual.

So, you don't ever see objects in the most literal sense of the word "see". Light waves reflect and refract off of items in the world, hit your retina, and your brain turns those light waves into patterns that you understand as sight. So there's no way to ever know if my blue is the same as your blue or Ghetto Monstazz' blue, just as there is no way to describe Yellow to a blind person, E Flat to a dead person, or Spicy to someone without the ability to taste.
It's like that age old question, if a tree fell in a forest and no one was around to hear it, does it make a sound? Locke would say no. I'd also say no - "sound" requires a receptor. Otherwise it's just stimulus.

Citing limpid banalities as if they were cosmic revelations is certain to startle the beggar by the window. Why am I here?Because I'm not somewhere else. This is deeper than it sounds.Think of this chance that here am I and there are you reading this.A marvel to be sure.
Suppose you were here in my place typing this and I elsewhere,or I were here and you somewhere else,or the both of us were elsewhere.Three cases certainly more probable than the 4th,which is as we are now!
The theorist wrestles with many different possibilities with each pleading its special case.
I attend to the concrete:If I discovered a pube in my soup,I'd upbraid the waiter.
There I find comfort from the cosmic immensities.
