Honestly calling our American football "football" has always struck me as odd. Seeing as how they hardly touch the ball with their feet at all. Soccer makes more sense as football.

This is like the fourth thread about this in the past 6 weeks. Why is everyone always trying to compare apples with America. We enjoy what we call football. Why do people get so defensive over sharing a name? Football is here for recreation purposes wether it's with an egg shaped ball or a black and white round ball.
