Okay, so a strange topic, and you all know I don't normally post, but I had to share this one. So last night I'm kicked back, drinking several of those Carlsberg tall boys, and decide I want to have MacNCheese. Wife is TDY right now, I gotta cook for myself, and going out to eat during Ramadan is a mess, far too crowded. Plus I've had those drinks, anyway back to the story. So I make the MacNCheese and decide making it into a bake would be sweet. So I goop it all into one of the white oven dishes, throw some more milk in there, and cover it with breadcrumbs. Cook on 375 for 20 minutes and you're golden. So 20 minutes and another beer later, I go in to the kitchen, put on the oven mitts, and take it out. THEN I take the mitts off, and remove the glass top. With my fingers. On my left hand, I'm left handed. Needless to say, I was less than amused once the pain receptors realized WTF was going on. I iced and slapped some neosporen on them and covered em with band-aids, the MacNCheese Bake kicked ass by the way.

So this morning, I'm looking at turfs in the VA area, and accidentally attack one cause my band-aid hit it. I lost, bad, and was like damn, who the hell did I attack? Yeah, I'm not going to name names but it was about the worst person I could have hoped to attack at this time in the game. I sent a short PM explaining it was mistake and they right away acknowledged, instead of systematically destroying me right on the spot. So thank you kind stranger (if you read this), your understanding is greatly appreciated during these tenuous TW times.

The moral of the story? No freaking idea, funny as hell though. Anyone else got anything wacky they did in TW's due to alcohol or what not? :-)

Once I was sitting on the sofa...not even drinking...and playing TW. My son leaned over (he's four at the time) and said "what does THAT do?" and attacked Night. Lovely. I lost of course so no biggie...still.
