I work for a company that has an arms retail store. The sales have gone up over 350% from last year. I'd say everyone is doing just fine with it. At least the ones distributing. Though the amount of people owning guns has gone down while the amount of guns in gun owner homes has gone up.It's all bullshit population control..lemme guess most of em were females? this is all going on just for the price of guns to go up an eventually get banned so we have nothing to defend ourselfs with.. Most guns doubled in price within the last shootings.. Lets see how well this one plays out?
An before people start posting "ban guns" it's not the guns that kill people, it's the greedy money hungry fucks that kill people ;) greed will take over this world an kill us all.. Not guns -

You understand why the price goes up right? It's a simple theory called "supply and demand". Rofl. Talk about sheep.Hahaha a lot of you "sheep" are going to have a bad wake up call in the next few years..I could get a brand new stag arms model 8 for $1300(on east coast) before the shootings.. There going for $2500(still rising) now.. Hey grim instead of playing so much tw why don't you get your head outta the gutters an read a little bit

No logic, Noooo! My ears my ears!If everything is a secret ploy from your government against your people I think the problem is pretty clear. Address the issue like a developed nation. Address the issue like a country with a literacy rate above 80%. Reading this thread is like watching a pack of rabid baboons killing each other. Seriously, America has to get a grip with reality. These conspiracy theories will pit your nation at war with itself. Your all scared, and as we all know, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. If you base your thinking off of theories you will get nowhere, filter out the shit, build facts, and burn that corrupt government out of office.

Amen BrotherI love my gun like I love my table saw! It's a fucking tool until it is used as a weapon. Like a hammer, or knife, or an axe. There were 83 more people killed in the United States with hammers last year than there was with assault rifles. Where the fuck is the hammer control??? It has NOTHING to do with anything except disarming freedom loving Americans!! "You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands!"

Actually addi, it DID happen in real life. Not made up by the NRA. Look it up. As for the hammer statement, look that up too, you will find I researched it. Mainly because I didn't believe it either. But it's true. I'm NOT a member of the NRA nor do I support them in any way financially or otherwise. FACT is guns don't kill. People do. If its not a gun. It's a knife. If its not a knife it's a rope. Don't blame the tool. Blame the user! And BtW, Don't talk to me like I'm a 13yr old kid spouting Facebook shit. @ADDI
You are correct, as putting a gun in the hands of of a crazy person, verses someone protecting there familyis not the same. Truthfully if more sane people carried guns, there would be less murders. -

Everytime the American gov. Pushes for tighter gun control, their seems to be a lot more deaths than usual around that time.
And it isn't guns that kill people. It's bullets. -

I was just gonna say that bit about bullets, haha. But seriously, if I hear "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" or "the ar-15 is NOT an assault weapon" or any of these other nonsense sayings people keep spitting, I'm going to go crazy. Seriously people, stop fucking around with useless sayings and propaganda posters and do some goddamn thinking for once. It's pathetic. And don't you dare copy/paste a wikipedia page as evidence. Some moron did that to me on facebook, and I caught it right away. I can write a wikipedia page on anything, pick and choose "sources" that support my side, but that doesn't make it complete and full research, even if the dumb fucks at Harvard seem to think so.Everytime the American gov. I'm not sure if Harvard really says that, but the moron who tried to tell me AR-15's are not assault weapons said Harvard allows students to use wikipedia as a reference. If that's true, I'm not sure how much weight a Harvard degree has anymore.

Anyone that says an AR-15 is not an assault rifle is an idiot! However anyone that says I shouldn't own one is an idiot too!! It's my American right to possess firearms for my own protection and for hunting etc. as long as other people(foreign governments, police and military included) have AR-15's then I'll keep mine thanks. I don't think I'll ever go rabbit hunting with it, but I'll be glad to shoot up some foreign military that decides to hit America red dawn style. Or zombies....IDGAF if they are real or not. I'll be prepared either way. I look at it like taking an extra pair of socks camping. I may not need extra socks, but if I do then I have them....

As an Aussie, My friend's grandpa survived the Port Arthur Massacres. After such a tragic event, Australia began disarming. So far, no massacres, school shootings, mass killings and succesful terrorist plots have occured. In my opinion, Americans are being desensitized to the gun violence as we all are to the rapes and murders on Earth. Unfortuneatly, the 2nd Ammendment is too heavily rooted in the US mind that majority of the population will never give up their firearms.

Wow. Claiming you need a gun for defense against zombies or a bad movie plot kinda proves you're not mature enough to own one.

"Guns don't kill people,
People kill people."Well having an AR-15 Assault Rifle that has a clip of up to 600 rounds fired all automatically sure helps

Id think sonevermind. he shot them. i cant help but find the timing of all these random shootings suspicious. in fact i dont think i believe they are even random...
what do you guys think? i mean does any of this seem fishy considering the push for gun control? im not trying to be disrespectful here. this is tragic. but do some people stand to gain from these new examples to push an agenda that severely needed steam to ever happen?
i hope im just being paranoid.

As bus said, he may not ever need the ar-15, but he has it if he does. Granted, the reasons he stated are two extreme scenarios that more likely will never happen. (Zombies especially) What's the problem with owning something you'd never actually need, anyway? I have a huge collection of swords, axes, and other hand weaponry. Am I gonna need to form a medieval army with them? No, but I enjoy collecting them. Could they ever come in handy? Yes, and they even protected my house on at least one occasion.Wow. Well if you intend to show your intelligence then read what I said which was "it rarely happens" meaning it's not the normal outcome in these situations even though most of the country owns a gun. I do blame the user, but I also blame the society for giving the means to do it. Take the aurora shooting with 12 dead and 58 wounded. You think that much damage would have been done with a knife or a rope? I think not! With a drum, oh yes.★Λddi★ wrote:

No one said you were an NRA member, only that you quote them well. The facts are out there. Look at them and show me how gun violence compares so closely to knifes or hangings or any other form of murder. Go ahead, I challenge to show how well they match up. Don't say your opinion on a forum if you don't expect to be challenged.
Its not nearly as black and white as your educated mind would like it to be. It certainly is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that good people with guns are not stopping bad people with guns and if they are then it's .000000001%. At least not before those bad people do their damage. All you have to do is turn on the news to know that.
-
And I kinda agree with you green. I also find it fishy that this happened in aurora Colorado, too. It may just be a coincidence though.

Too many people have forgotten that the 2nd amendment starts with the words WELL REGULATED.
