As a long-time gulf coast resident, I wanna know how peeps on the east coast are prepping for Hurricane Earl. (For those of you in Cali, a hurricane is when it rains REALLY hard and it's SUPER windy 😉)

I, being from Boston, am not to worried. I was worried about flooding but we live on a hill. The roof might leak a little but that might be about it.

I haven't done anything much to prepare, we don't flood often and there's a pump in the basement just incase.. Not expecting too much out of the storm here.

We rarely get hurricanes in Canada like once a year or not even that

Lol sure that wasn't a Tornado?
We have a Tropical Storm Warning because we probably won't be close enough to the Hurricane goodness. I'll settle for that but watch it end up not even raining.

It better stay the hell out of northern South Carolina because I'm heading there now, be there next week (currently in Angel Fire, NM)
