Now that's a true display of the power of science right there. The only thing I worry about is the article about extending human life over 100 years. While it may seem good to most people, the overpopulation and pollution problem would be astronomical if that is distributed to the everyday citizen. Wonder what the next 50 years will bring...Teleportation maybe?

I think that if we're very lucky, we will see in our lifetimes, a microwave oven that will cook a Hot Pocket™ and the edge will NOT be burnt and the middle will NOT be completely frozen. I know, it's a HUGE scientific goal for our PhD's and Nobel laureates, but curing cancer is small potatoes compared to this amazing feat of science.

I think the flexible solar panels can reduce our need of fossil fuels.

And then what happens is you heat it more to get the middle thawed. And then it's too much and the cheese has turned into molten lava and burns the shit out of your mouth.

Teleportation has been done. A couple years ago. This article is just for things that have been done this year. Anyways teleportation hasn't been done on a large scale just a very small piece of fabric. And only over a few meters.
