I was thinking of getting the 450 RP for 9.99 which doubles to 900, but when i clicked buy, the offer just said 250 for
9.99 I dont understand -

The bonus we longtime players get is when can put more into the game then ususal.. 20k DP per week instead of the normal 10k limit

Thank you for your message.The bonus Respect Points are available only to first-time buyers, and the most bonus RP anyone can get is 1000. There was a typo on The Don's screen which indicated 500 0 Respect Points – it's actually 3500 (2500 + a 1000 bonus). Hope this clears things up!

Right now you can buy 2000 points for $40 or 3500 for $90. Am I missing something?

Well it took me 6 months to make my first purchase and that was $40 and that lasted me awhile and that's because I was hopping to Melbourne. I've just spent the $90 for 2.5 k DP and I used that on energy refills for double loot week and to increase my turf during Christmas Day. I'm now waiting to face the wrath from my partner for spending $130 on DP in one week
