It's a well known fact the Mayans used intercontinental alien technology to travel the world. It's also known that the great calendar was created while they were investigating the best location for the Prime Meridian in Greenwich, England.

Mayas were still around.The mayan population was very small by that time tho.

The Mayans are one of the only Meso-American civilizations who were never fully conquered by Europeans. Although the Spanish arrived in the "post classic era" of the Mayan civilization, they were fiercely repelled to the present day. There are still towns (not reservations) in Yucatan which are 100% Mayan, I've been there. They never disappeared and in fact absorbed Christianity into their culture. Google "Spanish conquest of Yucatan".
