So I'm laying here with a fractured wrist and knee and a helmet with a pretty big crack in it!

Last week I was involved in a collision with a car on my quad bike. Combined speed of 45 mph.

My helmet saved my life! I want to ask the turfwars community to remember how important safety gear is! Please if you know a rider wether they ride a push bike, 900cc bike, horse or rickshaw to check their equipment regularly and to always wear it! 'You only live once' after all! Lol! Stay safe peeps!

Ah yes, a helmet saved my life a few times. Come to think of it, the fire suit I wore when I was drag racing and kinda blew up saved my life too. All safety gear, all the time.

A promise to my son, before he "let" me buy my first motorcycle... Even if it's from the top of the townhouse complex to the swimming pool... This mommy always wears a helmet!
