the ipa file of Turf Wars version 2.28 that they would be willing to email me? I'm using a 2nd gen iPod touch that can't go past iOS 4.2.1. The current version of Turf Wars requires ios 4.3 or higher. My 4 year old was playing on my iPod and deleted turf wars (2.28). Somehow all I have on my computer is version 2.3 which I can't use. Tried googling it but didn't have any luck. I have an open support ticket on this issue but I was hoping this would be a faster approach. Can anyone help me out? I can't get to my pm's so I'll go ahead and post my email address.

No, the 2nd gen iPod touch doesn't support the newer versions of turf wars, and that is all that the op can download from iTunes. It had nothing to do with the account.

All I can download is version 2.3 which won't work on my iPod. I need version 2.28

My friend is having the same issue with his 3rd gen iPod touch. I'm wondering if a jailbreak will allow it to download 2.3?

Yes it can, when I download an app it allows new to choose which version I'd like.

I think I'm out of options. Someone has been trying to help me, but after he sent me the correct file, itunes wont put it on my ipod because i dont have his password (i would never ask, or expect him to give me his password either lol) Support said they are forbidden to distribute apps outside of the app store. (understandable.... Their hands are tied). So I contacted apple support. Turns out they're a bunch of morons. First they tell me to contact codebooster support (totally different app. WTF!). Then after I explain that it's not codebooster I'm talking about, it's turf wars. And I already contacted their support and was told that they could not help me due to apple restrictions. THEN, guess what apple support tells me to do....

Contact Turf Wars support and see if they can help. I give up. I'm on a really tight budget. There's no way I can afford a new idevice anytime in the near future. Maybe in a year or so I can return to turf wars and see if there's anything left of my account. Happy Turfing folks!

Sorry but my experience tells me you're out of luck. Several players tried to help me with this but the problem is you need the iTunes password of the person who downloaded it. So unless you have a close friend with an old version of turf wars who will share their iTunes password with you.....
