I'd say a large percent of companies in America have cut wages and decreased benefits over the last several years.. I don't really see how Hostess employees are being subjected to anything different than what most Americans have been put thru .. At least they had the option to quit striking rather than join the unemployment line and if you voluntarily join the unemployment line well it's hard for a lot to sympathize to much. Ok for them to stand for what they believe in but not much room for complaining about having no job. Plus I ❤ Ding Dongs so I'm pissed!! Lol

While I agree that many companies have cut back, no vending company has stuck it to their employees like Wonder did. I have talked to vendors from almost every company. It isn't even close.

@Brown Note the Little Debbie version of the Twinkie is pretty good. But it hasn't sold worth a lick in the two years they've been out. I quit ordering them because they were costing us too much money in stale.

Nobody buys the little Debbie version of the Twinkie. They're impossible to find. But I think retailers would be smart to start carrying them now that they're top dog.

There not jobless yet. They where on strike and they had barely any employee that I had to go bankrupt. Some will loose there job sooner then others but still they won't be gone til they sale a majority of there products
I'm sure they run a just in time model, or at least they should. They shouldn't have much more than a few days supply on hand, something that can be easily written off.
