My father had adult onset diabetes. Had to watch his diet then it was a pill and diet then eventually he had to take injections and manage diet. I'm currently trying to avoid it through diet and staying active. Anyhow def know you are not alone.

Yah that the story I hear alot. With type 2 u need to stay active. Continue what ur doing and every year get checked to make sure ur not starting it's best to catch it early instead of too late

I think the most important thing in the large majority, if not all such cases, is to not label yourself! Yes, you may suffer from an illness nobody around you does, but try not to allow that into your psyche.

A lot of people around you will have their own crutch they depend on to get along, if yours happens to be medication, that's cool. Don't dwell on it. 👍
