Ok I know this is probably pretty lame - BUT - I want to learn some good recipes lol - I LOVE food. Nothing is better than a good recipe. My grandma passed on some good recipes but unfortunately I can't remember many. Three of my FAV recipes from my grandma were lemon meringue pie, spam, and pot roast (done right) so let's hear some good recipes! The more you contribute - the more I can pass on to my chitlins

I could give ya the recipe of my award winning chili, but you'd shit bricks if you knew how easy it is to make.

250ml of vegetable oil. 250 ml of freshly squeezed lemons. 3 cloves of garlic....... Reasonably healthy salad dressing choice (depending on type of oil used), garlic varied depending how much you like/dislike your significant other

Anyone make good Mexican rice? My local restaurant serves it and I love it, but can't seem time find how...

Buy some frozen concentrated grape juice, yeast, a balloon, a milk jug, and sugar.
Mix 2 cans of juice
2 cups of sugar
2 packs of yeast
Fill the jug with water
Put the balloon on top of the jug
Put a small pin hole in the ballon
Let this mixture sit for about a month. When the balloon inflates and deflates, your drink is ready. Siphon all of it out into a new jug except for the gunk at the bottom. It is important not to let the sediment get into the drink. It will give you diarrhea. Congratulations!!!! You now have a gallon of homemade wine.
Ps. It is important not to put the wine into mason jars too early. If you do, they will explode and you will have a nasty mess on your hands. -
Homemade Mac and cheese
- 1 block cream cheese
- 1 pound velveeta
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound macaroniChunk the velveeta and cream cheese and put in blender along with 1 cup milk. Blend until evenly mixed. Boil macaroni. Mix macaroni and cheese blend in casserole dish. Cook in oven on 350 until top begins to brown. Enjoy!
I like to top the Mac and cheese with a bit of garlic salt but that is just me!

Here's one from my Missus!
Take 6 potatoes, peel and cut into quarters.
Take 15-20 Chantelle carrots, cut and dice into small chunks.
Take 5 onions, cut into chunks and put into BIG pot with a little veggie oil.
Once onions are browning, put ginger, garlic, and chillie in (to your taste) then stir and put lid on pot.
Put in powder spices which are Garam Masala, Salt and Turmeric.
Once the spices and onions are browning, add 1 large tin of chopped tomatoes......stir then put lid on pot.
Add carrots and potatoes, give mixture a good stir with some water.
Cooking in total: 20-25 mins or until potatoes and carrots are soft.Potato and carrot curry!
