anyone play Artemis?
Forums › General Discussion › anyone play Artemis?-
Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.
Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room ("bridge") , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn't have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.http://www.artemis.eochu.com/
I just need to find 5 really nerdy friends and we can pilot my basement rec room to the stars.

Sounds like a cool idea. How long does a "game" take? How would you "win" said game?

check out the website. Got a good FAQ and forum. I haven't actually played yet so they can answer better than I can. My son downloaded and he's having a crew party this weekend. I'll play but I get to be captain.
one forum post I saw says something about a six hour temporal anomaly.

Damn, that's pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't have consecutive hours to play something like that until Thanksgiving break 😢

Woow, sounds really cool.
What I'm playing now and love it is smartvex. Take a look at smartvex.com
