Pro or Air?
Forums › General Discussion › Pro or Air?-
I've been wanting to buy a laptop and have been deciding between a MacBook air or pro. Which one do u think I should get?
-
Depends on what you wanna do with it. I have an air now after having a pro. Personally I prefer the air because its amazingly fast and light.
-
Just bought an Air the other day. Love that sumbitch.
-
I got an air and and pro
And i like the air better, yes it is so easy to carry and i've never had a problem with it at all -
Thanks guys! Isn't it cheaper too...?
-
I got the last of the 17 inchers. I like a big screen, damn near a portable desktop. And i carry around an extra hard drive. But I do graphics and video editing. I'd get an air for most applications.

I personally like the pro, but the air is great too. Now they are both so thin.
-
The air doesn't have a cd drive
Something to take into consideration.
I heard they are also prone to overheating -
I have a pro from 2007 that still runs good. I paid more than I wanted to for it simply because it was faster and would take longer than the base model of the day to become obsolete. It is getting towards the end of its useful life, but as long as I don't try to update the os any more it should keep working for another few years.
Buy refurbished from the website, save a ton of money!

I have both in work, I have the air personally but I prefer now the 2012 Retina MacBook Pro, it's light and thin so barely a burden. Better resolution and higher all around specs. Worth the extra bit of money.
As a side note, I get them for as a work thing here.. They are not worth the money been charged for them.

I would just like an apple laptop😥
-
Well, what if I'm going to have it somewhat stationary? Should I stay with the pro?
-
Well, I've been thinking, and I think ill just get an iPhone 5. I'm probably too young for a MacBook anyways.

Lol. My dad got me a MacBook for highschool. It's mine an noone else is allowed to touch it! But, if its gonna be stationary I would suggest going with a pro.vapor fly wrote:

I prefer pro it's not like I care to carry an extra 10 ounces it also is faster better hd quality it has a disc slot were as a air doesn't so you would need to pay a extra 150$ to get a separate disc slot.
The air is also easier to break, scratch, or drop because its weaker and is to slippery but I guess a case would take care of that.
My point is pro is my decision -
Neither, get a windows based computer.

Had a MacBook Pro for years and loved it. Recently replaced it with an Air. I love it even more. Buy and Air and never look back.

If it will actually run a windows OS than I might actually own one. Mac is just much more difficult to navigate.⚔℘ཞعϮϮყ_ცօყ⚔ wrote:

Actually..., macs are pretty user friendly once you get to know some simple things.✖₳ɠⅇŋƬ ℱ₳¢ℓøŋ✖ wrote:
