My Case Against the Independents (and all others)

These parties or groups or political denominations will never. Get. Elected. That's not to offend those who did vote independent (johnson) or green or constitutionalist, but is a fact. These parties take away voted from the legitiment parties (again, no offense).
Agree? Disagree? Who'd you vote for? I don't care, it's late, go to town 👇 -

I voted for Johnson but that didn't take away from Romney or Obama. Neither of them were going to get my vote.
If the republicans or democrats would offer up a good candidate I'd be happy to vote for them. But as it stands they are just out to outdo each other rather than offer anything of value to the country.
That's just the opinion of a crazy libertarian.

Not unless they get the super corporations to fund them.

i dont think a 3rd party is the answer. i think 3rd 4th & 5th party would be good. if dens and gop dont want to work together parties 3 4 or 5 might. moderates who are willing to work together are chased out(ask sens luger and snowe) and we are left with gridlock. more choices in a democracy can only be good i think it wiuld keep the extremes in both parties from running the show.

Jill stein (the presidential candidate for the green party) got arrested for trying to get into the presidential debate.... HoW FUCKED up is that?
This country unfortunately is a battle between two parties but if other parties were allowed into debates or given as much coverage, that might change....

Choosing between the lesser of two evils has become the norm in america

Independent = Your thoughts not influenced by others

In Australia we have a hung parliament and the independents hold the balance of power.... So here they are very powerful ATM...

Independent parties? Who votes at all for them? Hipsters? I guess the Republicans and Democrats are too "mainstream".
-
Independent parties? Who votes at all for them? People who aren't compelled to be sheep? I guess Libertarians, Tea Partiers, and Greens are too "fringe."

personally im sick of the dens and gop bickering and not doing anything. i vited against all incumbents this time and am planning on looking into libertarian and constitutionalists for next time.

In Maine Independant Angus King was elected for House of Reps. Never? We'll see.

The two party system is broken. Both candidates pander to the extreme elements within their own party, leaving a vast majority of Americans feeling like no one is looking out for them. A viable third party is absolutely necessary if America is to get back on track. But in politics, money talks. Without the backing of the huge party machines, it's almost impossible to get your message out. It's going to take a massive shift in public opinion to change any part of the current system.

What America needs is for the average citizen to take up arms, march right into d.c. and take back our country.
