The main branch of the Mormon church, which Romney belongs to, does not endorse polygamy.

I may be completely off, but listen to this. I think Democrats are for gay marriage, abortion rights, etc etc only because republicans are against them. If you really get down to the roots of the party, republicans should be for those things and democrats should be against them, politically speaking. Republicans are against them because of religious reasons, and Democrats are for them to piss off Republicans. Just a theory. I like to think of myself as a Republicrat.

I think that's the big hypocracy about republicans voting a certain way because of religous reasons. Let's say Jesus Christ came back tommorow and did what the bible said.You know things like help the poor,help each other ,love one another etc. etc. The republicans would probably crucify him and call him a socialist. No disrespect just sayin'.

Same here, I have pretty republican values, but I believe in the freedom to choose. I don't try to shove those values down other people's throats.
