My town, Dunellen NJ lost power from hurricane Sandy on Monday last week at 7:08pm and regained power last night at 8:08pm. We are very thankful for all the hardworking people like the PSE&G workers as well as the emergency response teams. What's the longest you were without power. Mine is 6 days and 1 hour.

I've been without power for 30 hours once, but that's about it.

In the summer -
Nasty ice storm in Erie, pa knocked power out to my area for 6 days in February of 1987. We lived in a mobile home. All we could do was shut off the water main, drain the lines, wrap them with blankets and hope for the best. We stayed with a family with a generator running their heat tape on their water lines and a couple lights. Had heat via kerosene heater.

7 days we had a Bad snow storm and the power went Out the roads were to slick for the power companys to fix the lines and then the roof of our porch fell in thank god a friend of ours owned a hotel in town and gave us a suite there for free
