Ok so I recently got stitches in my forearm for doing something dumb. This is say 2 weeks ago and recently my hand like my pinky and ring finger have been feeling like there burning or on pins or needles. I know i cut a nerve in the process so my question is does anyone know if this will heal on its own or if this numbing burning feeling will ever go away. It's hurts bad!!

That is normal feeling when nerves have been damaged.this usually means they are healing, as this can take awhile.

When I was a kid I had my pinkie and ring finger peeled to the bone by an ice skate(someone else's foot)
Anyway, after they "healed" they twinged every time I moved them.hurt like hell, Took about a month to end. If you cut a nerve, the twinges are tellin you it's reconnecting. It's a good sign, in my opinion, lets
You know the nerve is active... You should be worried if you don't feel anything.
I say give it a week or two, take an aspirin, and if you still can't stand the pain call the doc -
Thanks you guy. When I got my stitches removed they said they can either heal on its own or need surgery. I hope it's healing bc this pain not unbearable but still pretty annoying. At work I'm a black jack dealer and this pain interferes. I hate it 😕

I've heard punching codes 3 times a day every 8 hours for 2 weeks will heal that issue.

I don't think there's anything to do abou it, the stuff is to smal so about the only thing an outsider could do would be to damage them.

It takes approx one month for one inch of injured nerve to heal - or so I have been told. You should definitely reach out to the dr but as others have stated, if you have feeling that is typically a good thing. GL.
