I find Russian and German to be the most intimidating. Russian mostly because they're just hardcore over there.

I would agree that German and Russian are both intimidating languages

He could also be referencing Romance languages, such as Italian or French. But it still is a matter of opinion.

It's funny how people think Spanish people talk so fast. But when I learned their language I saw that they say the same amount of words in the same amount of time that we Americans do... It just seems speedy to us.

Because it isn't as choppy as English, more flow.

My gf speaks both.
Finnish sounds angry indeed. Can't understand a word of it though.
Swedish doesnt sound angry or harsh at all imo. For us Dutch people it sounds funny! Jättebra! 😄
