And rugby may take more skill ( which is debatable) But our football takes way more physical prowess and encompasses far more strategy

2nd American sports, ie. Baseball or American football are not popular worldwide.
Personally got nothing against America or Americans, I'm only annoyed by ignorant, selfcenteted morons - not a personal dig at anyone, just the fact -

Pearl Harbour gave you the one and only taste of what it was like to live in Fear for your familes lives every night while the Luftwaffe launched wave after wave of Bomb attacks on UK cities.
Generations of families were wiped out, millions of Uk & European citizens, not to mention what happened to the Jews so I find it a bit offensive that you think the all conquering US Army and Navy 'saved the day'. If it wasn't for the japan bombing of Pearl Harbour you wouldn't have entered the war and if ur wasn't for the resolve and the determination of the armys of Britain and thd other allied nations for the 3 years out of the 5 that US were not involved then Hitler may well have had the whole of Europe and Russia as his army to take on the rest of the world when he was good and ready. And then you may well be speaking German.

All sports in the world are great, American sports, worldwide sports including Football and Golf. We Brits love having a dig at the Yanks and vice versa and we love having you as allies as well in this ever more volatile world but unfortunately it makes us a hated country to the other parts of the world because we are seen as arrogant and unlawfully going to war alongside the Americans (and other allied coutries)

Hendy took the words right out of my mouth and then some. You think Europeans need to get off our high horses? Not saying Europeans don't have their fair share of ignorant fools but it'd be just as ignorant to suggest America does not. Disagree on something and the first thing that seems to categorise people is their country of residence.
Don't add fuel to the fire by saying European countries are not all that important, it's a baseless insult. Yeah so someone else else insulted America, you think you're being any better by replying back in the same manner? It'll never end. I didn't say America blows now, did I?
Instead of jumping to the defence of your country and immediately cry weakness on the opposing, look at it from a neutral perspective. All countries have faults, all countries have people that think they're a cut above the rest. And England has recieved it's heavy share of insulting on this forum, but returning the insult would be useless since it'll get us no where.
