I'm leaving for St. Louis this weekend for a conference goalball event. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it. It's a sport for the visually impaired and blind. I'll post a link about it, kind of hard to explain.

I'm interested in learning about this. I've volunteered for the blind bowling league in Erie Pa for about 16 years. My stepmother's father was one of the bowlers up until his death 2 years ago.

Goalball is an amazing sport to watch, but you are even more amazed by it after you try it and see how difficult it is

As for the op, I just checked it out (thank you Wikipedia and YouTube) and it looks pretty cool. I'd be scared to get smacked in the face though..

I played that last week at a presentation, showed up stoned but I won every game aha.

The ball doesn't really hurt that much, it hurts more when you hear it roll past you into the net.
