In a quote on a forum mentioned duck and cover. In 7th grade, we watched a cold war video on what to do if a a-bomb hit your town. It is too funny and stupid. Search it up on YouTube! You will find it so stupid its funny. I'll post a link ir it soon.If you have ever seen the video called "Duck And Cover" you know why the title is Burt the Turtle. When I was in grade school we had monthly air raid drills. Had to drop in th bathroom once. It sucked.

I grew up in So Cal. We had earthquake drills instead of air raid drills. I still remember trying to make sure every part of my body was tucked under my desk.

I watched it in 8th grade along with Octobersky it was what the government thought would save lives during the Cold War 🎶🎵'if you see the flash!,(meaning a nuke lighting up the area) Duck and cover, duck and cover'🎵🎶 too bad if they survived they would be blind and die a few months later in terrible pain....😳

When we had a tornado drill, it was for real. But there was only a tornado warning. Well anyway the girl next to me was tucked in real tight and was crying and sobbing. Worst hour of that year in 2nd grade. (I actually told her to shut up)

Yeah, the video said to protect yourself with anything around you. In the video a guy used a newspaper... yeah you're gonna live through a nuke.;)
