Led zeppelin first and foremost. Cream, Derek and the dominoes(anything Clapton has been involved with) Stevie ray Vaughn, three dog night, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and so many more. Classic rock is my favorite type of music. Bands these days don't have the same soul as classic Rock n roll. Oh and bob seger.

Not a fan of classic rock bands really but your thread reminded me of the doobie brothers - long train running and ram jam - black betty both of which I really do like so thanks for that

Didn't think I'd live to see the day that Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, two bands that became famous in the early to mid 90s, were considered "classic rock". Makes me feel old.
