Off season grilling

Mid-October, mild for a fall day. Grilling some New York strip steaks. Who else grills in the "off season?" For those that don't understand, most people here only grill from May- September.

There's is no "off-season" for grilling only those who blanch at the feel of a little frost and cry for their mamas at the hint of sub-zero temps. Winter separates the men from the boys say I, separates those who pretend from those who contend. If you can light a fire you should grill.

I'm inclined to agree, being that I have no problem grilling in a blizzard. I just know that some prefer to grill in the summer months.

We have a new years eve cookout in Indiana. The suggested attire is shorts and T-shirts.

Have a party every year and stock a couple wine/beer/scotch stations, grilled and raw oysters spots and misc crap elsewhere for people who don't like either of former. Good times. Would recommend.

I was grilling in Manitoba in -30 + windchill, had to wear a parka n toque eh! Threw a case of beer on the patio when the meat went on, and they were icy goodness when the meat was done. Gotta say I was happy when school was done, and I could get the hell out of there. Great times!

We're grilling right now. Of course, it's still 88° at 7:15 pm in mid October here in San Diego. We're grilling filet mignon, corn on the cob, portobello mushrooms, asparagus & beans...YUM! 🍴
