Get them to start playing turf wars.....maybe they will figure it out....
-
Hahaha there old

Well if this is the situation you're in I wouldn't do it by letter or email. They'll be discouraged that the father of their soon to be grand kid has poor grammar
-

I'm guessing you're young. If true very humbly and be very apologetic. They're going to be mad. You need to be as assuring and possible that you're going to step up and take care of the kid and their daughter.
What scares me is the way you're talking in this thread, you have no idea how big of a deal this is and what major changes are coming to your life.
Above all else be a man. If you're man enough to get her pregnant, be man enough and sacrifice and take care of that kid. It's going to be hard. Really hard. But you are just as responsible (if not more responsible) as she is.

Im 19'! And imma join the marines in a couple months! Tht should help provide for the baby! Right??
-
Well if you're 19 then I'm relieved to know at least you're out of high school. I was worried u were both still HS students. I actually don't know enough about the military and initially how much you're taken care of financially when you're there. But again I urge you to support that child. Too many kids out there without daddies.

so you are leaving the girl, pregnant and alone?
(nothing against army husbands/wives, much of my family fall into this category, but it becomes slightly like having kind of "holiday parents" which screwed me up emotionally)
be very polite to the parents. make a plan with your girl, mapping out when you are leaving, how much you can contribute financially, when you return etc. once you pair have made rational decisions discuss it with the parents and welcome their input.
-
I'm old. Old people understand more than you think. Like people say above, be apologetic and be a man about it. There's no easy answers here unfortunately.

As to talking to the parents, don't be a joking little punk. Man up and be apologetic. Laughing about the matter will piss her father off to no end
