I have been around the forums (under different names) for quite a while, and I've noticed a consistent trend in behavior with many players...
Trolling has now become "the norm" for both veterans and noobs; the only difference? It has been acceptable for veterans, but unacceptable for noobs making the exact same comments.
I call for a rule to be made of equality in speech. Vets have no right to troll if noobs do not have that same right.
When we accept noobs as fellow humans instead of judging them by their stats, that is when we will have unification....
Which is what EVERY community needs.

I am curious to hear what your definition of trolling is.

Damn! No turf in range. Commy pinko scum

What else have you been using those accounts for? 🐴

Do you have any examples that show this?

Actualy it dosent.
Trolling is to compute through posts or emails to incite an angry response.Trolls generally post multiple pointless threads, with the intention of creating anger of players.
Vets tend to create a laughable situation, either with their random posts in the middle of crud, or their turns in situations they've seen over and over and over.
It's like a Major yelling at a Segeant to clean the bathroom.
It doesn't work both ways. -

I completely agree with the idea of equality. But don't mistake me for Josef Stalin or Mao ze dong or anything.

So you're saying vets do not troll? There are MANY on the forums classified as "vets". That is a bit of a general fallacy on your part.Actualy it dosent.

It doesn't work both ways. And by your example of the major yelling at the sergeant, you're saying that veterans have a right to troll. And your reason for thinking this is...What? Mob count?

If you are a veteran, then you should be supporting this declaration of equality in speech. Otherwise, you will slowly drain what's left of the life and creativity that are in these forums.

Semtex does have a point. I've noticed that if some noob were to make a post that says "I'm bored", he'd be ERd in seconds. However if someone "popular" would make the same post people would go along with it and it would have tons of comments. I see where he's coming from.

Well clearly you don't see that these noobs post those threads the first time they find the forums, followed by a thread about is x better then y, followed by why lil wayne is the greatest rapper ever, all within 20 minutes. These "vets" have spent countless hours in the forum talking with the community, making them known throughout the game, which is why people are interested in what they have to say.Semtex does have a point. Well the ones who are just honest plain out noobs we can teach them the do's and dont's of the forums. We can't just scare away all of the new players. However the ones that are just here to straight up troll should get banned. But not all newbies are trolls and should be respected.🍺L🅰XB®O🍺 wrote:

Well, I'm an example of this. I posted a "random thread" and got ridiculed to death for it so I just deleted it. Then a few days later bleach made one and everyone posted stupid random comments😥
-
Note this, Bleach is not a vet, fairly new and mob count of no greater than 700, but Andrew I feel you though don't get discouraged

It's a social game. Be social. Play the game by social rules. It is absolutely a popularity contest. If you aren't good at making friends in a social game then you aren't good at Turfwars. Don't complain about your difficulties fitting in because it's counter-productive.

Yeah, people use 'troll' way too often now and the whole usage of troll is not even related to what a 'troll' is. Here is the definition of 'troll':
troll
/trōl/
Noun
A mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted in folklore as either a giant or a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance.
The action of trolling for fish.
Verb
Fish by trailing a baited line along behind a boat: "we trolled for mackerel". -
