Epic! Very cool to watch history being made. Also cool to watch it knowing you guys were watching it too!
@saelo, my breath caught in my throat when Felix was spinning. One of the risks was going into an uncontrolled flat spin during descent, which would have been fatal. Yikes! -

Yes it was such a relief when it opened! It might be spelled "chute." 😍
Yeah I try typing shout but my iPhone don't like that word. 😘

Bugger 😔 I always miss the cool stuff
Anyone know a replay?

Omg. No wonder his family burst into relieved cheers n tears once he gained control of the freefall spin. I'm so glad he is safe. 😄😘Epic! Very cool to watch history being made. Also cool to watch it knowing you guys were watching it too!

I bet if you google or search YouTube for a full replay you'll find many. Once the press conference is over I would guess that a lot of the live feed links will turn into full replay links.Bugger 😔 I always miss the cool stuff

Thank you ✌
Was hoping for a website or something hahaha
All these live feed links were making me sad -
As he's now the greatest diver ever & performs superbly when there's no atmosphere, LFC have made a £47m bid for Baumgartner.

Mach 1.24!

BBC filmed for an in-depth documentary. Planned air date is about 4 weeks. Here's hoping they'll show it on BBC America. In the meanwhile, there's always YouTube :-)

Here's a 10 minute video of the whole jump

For all you Halo fans, Felix is the closest thing to a real life ODST there is. What an amazing feat.

Yea :( sadly he didn't break the hang time record. But he still jumped from fucking space, once in a lifetime oppurtunity right thereHe made the highest jump record but I think he might have just missed the free fall record set in the 60s. Only missed it by a few seconds.
My heart was pounding. Just amazing.
Far Side, thx for live feed URL!

Ok here is a cool factoid I heard today. just to put things in a broader perspective. So we know how amazingly high up he was, right? Mind blowingingly high up.
According to astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, if you look at a globe of the earth, Felix jumped from one millimeter high, relative to a school globe.
Wow. We are so small and insignificant relative to "out there." It's also a bit startling to think about how thin our protective little atmosphere is.
