I'm anxious to see how the new lootable feature effects gameplay in the most sense cities/regions. Aside from loving the name of the new turf upgrade :). Right now, you take a packed city and add just one 85 influence turf then you'd prob be collecting on 3-5 other turfs in the vicinity (nevermind if it's a 10-25 influence turf boost). This should make the current "farm" dynamic or "safezone" bullshit that's become regular in dense areas a lot more interesting. Who'd want a high-payout turf in a dense region that only collects half the value while paying out someone else upwards of $160K?

Another interesting part of post-84 turfs is how much the capture range could increase. Now, you have people I'd prob cap on - just for the sake of spreading out but they're out of range from me in a sea of \V/ or brown note turfs. But with higher influence turfs I may have the range to reach them.

I think my point is there aren't many inactives with 84 infl turfs in dense areas

Still thing buying a 'plane ticket' to other countrys would open up the game. Something daft like get voted by ten noobs for helping them set up. Maybe one a month? I would love a little turfs out of the uk. The whole 5 secs I would get to keep it!

I don't see how it'll work. Is the upgrade put on a random turf? Or is it put on new turfs?

It would be a pain in the ass having to upgrade all 560+ of my turfs so if it is for each turf we should have the chance to upgrade areas or all of them at once if it only goes on one turf or a couple then those turfs would become very valuable and I'm gonna be looking to cap any that I see !

Union Boss is a turf upgrade.
I agree with Whitey that this will raise the influence level of your turf. It doesn't really matter how much, even raising it to 85 influence will have a significant effect.

However, if this turf upgrade is allowed on every turf, it will mainly benefit richer players but it will be available to all players and we will all upgrade to 85 influence (or whatever the new total will become).

I really hope that Nick has thought this through and will place limitations on the Union Boss purchase. EX: only one per Capo location. Only 10 per player, etc. That would require strategic placement of Union Boss in certain areas, etc.

Imagine if Vee places a Union Boss over several Brown Note turfs in NYC or Cupcake places one over Belial in LA. This will lead to negotiations (whether diplomatic or forcible...) and strategy; better gameplay overall than what could be a disappointing economic stimulus.

I think it's probably just gonna be you can upgrade one turf with each loot of it this. It will make those turf very valuable and you better be able to protect it if puting in a populated area. If I am correct that is.

I also wonder if this is something that can be used only on one or least a limited # of turf. Once added to a turf can remove and place it on another turf if you want.
