to teach people?

I actually wonder why teachers give out homework. Why give people things to work on at home when they can add an extra couple minutes onto the day??? The teachers are just being lazy 😴💤💤💤💤

To review sonething later in the evening is much more beneficial to learning compared to just learning that thing for one longer session

Still dem has a point, i get some school, but what is the use of a ton of it. I almost gaurentee that knowing how to do a liniar equ, or the squair root of 7391 is, but the gental basics everybody should know. And isint live just one big game? We have 80 yeRs to play b4 are system breaks and its over, so why slpend thoes years trying to figure out the game, instead of playing it?

The original reason for a public school system in America by our Founding Fathers was to teach children to read and write so that they could read the bible for themselves, and not be an illiterate people but an educated people.

Ive actual had moments where, after figuring out a huge equation at work to figure exact centres of gravity of an unbalanced machine assembly, Ive thought to myself, 'wow. How did i remember THAT equation??'
Homework. Makes you a LOT of money later in life. And when I'm 80, i wont be eating cat food.

I asked myself that same question back in the days when i was going to school... A lot of theory i had to study of wich i didnt understand why i had to...
Looking back at it now, i say to the people still going to school/college/universety:
Enjoy every moment of it, as it is the best time of your life youll have...
Once you start fooling around with the 9-5 job game, youll notice that playtime is over, and im absolutly positive you will look back to that time, and blink a tear 😭😭😭 -

School Is the only place I have friends cause my neighborhood is full of old people

There are so many reasons, it depends if your school/teachers show you there is a correlation between what you learn and the real world. It increases living standards by how much you progress in school. It gives the benefit of furthering your education besides basic math and spelling. Stay in school kids👿

It is continual... From generation to generation that question is renewed, currently--No. We are most deffinately not doing what the founding fathers originated, and the Bible has most deffinately been deleted from the daily flow of learning as has anything that ha to do with God in our history books. It's a shame that politicians are so compromisatory these days (Don't know if that's a word).shaggly razors wrote:

Typical "facts" from a bibble thumper.
Thomas Jefferson did discuss the need for public education, but he certainly wasn't a bibble thumper.
Grammar school was not largely available, nor compulsory universally until 1912. Way off from the time of your "saintly" founders.
For that matter, most of the founders were not bibble thumpers. They were as secular as the culture at the time would allow.
Quit claiming my history for yourselves.
