Hmm what to do (hockey)

Well I've been out of hockey for 4-5 months due to my brain injury. I'm wanting to start again after my last tests. The problem here is the coach I would end up with. Last year he gave me 10 second shifts stripped me of my C and kicked me out of many games. He also worsened my skill with the practices. I don't know if I should sit the season out or play anyways.

You must face adversity to gain life experience. Good luck in your decision.

whats the issue with the coach? if your wearing the c you are obviously important to the team. is there anything you can do to improve the relationship? remember being a team leader sometimes means doing whats best for the team.

Play if ur health permits. You only get to be ur age once. Enjoy the game.

Well I play high tier hockey, I go hard in practice and help my teammates improve. He told me he didn't like me doing his job. Then we did a contact drill in a practice and I hit his son really hard when he had his head down, that's where the problems started. The year before I had 32 min games with 53 goals 17 assists in 32 games. Last year I had 10-15 min games and only finished with 25 goals 10 assists in 34 games. When the assistant coaches were coaching the game then I would be up around 35 mins a game.

Almost sounds like your coach is jealous that you're a better player than his son.

You know, a wise man learns from others mistakes instead of taking experience as his teacher.Almost sounds like your coach is jealous that you're a better player than his son.
