Im in math right now watching the giants beat the reds. We are watching the game on the lap top and then my teacher bursts down the door and yells "I got speakers!!!". Giants get a grand slam and everybody yells. This just made my day.

We're listening at work. My manager yelled at me for dancing down the aisle after Posey's grand slam.

My teacher was giving a lecture and my classmate randomly yelled "GIANTS GOT A GRAND SLAM" and that is when my teacher decided to give up and watch the game.

This thread makes me sad, disgruntled and depressed. 😭😢😔😞 My Reds collapsed in epic fashion. What happened to clutch hitting??

Your Reds are a helluva team with a scary, scary lineup, but pitching wins games, especially in the playoffs. Reds are 1or 2 pitchers short, but they will be contenders for a while. A class team (except for Latos, who's a loudmouthed prick).

I'm not so sure it was the pitching as much as getting clutch hits. It's hard to win games when you're leaving 10-12 men on base per game.

When you give up 14 runs in 2 games, it's the pitching.

Eh....I wasn't necessarily counting Leake's performance I guess. And Latos gave up 4 of his runs on one swing. The opportunities were there are on several occasions the last 2 games to tie or take the lead. I still blame the bats over the pitching. Pitching carried them most, if not all year. At some points the bats need to carry the pitching.
