Legend of dragoon - another one I never got to finish.
RPGs were just plain better back in the day! I think they focus to much of graphics and not enough or story these days

Final Fantasy VIII & X both fell foul of this, though FFX ending did make me cry.
I never finished ffx... Thanks a lot blitz ball.
On my 3rd copy of ffx. Have everything in the game I just play blitzball.

I can't believe no one said any of these:
The 7th Saga
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore

The 7th Saga was one of the hardest grindiest games but the priest character was OP.
Secret of Mana/Evermore were long but very fun.

My all time favorite classic RPG though was Mother/Earthbound. Can still find the rom somewhere I'm sure.

I see a lot of console rpg titles here, but since im really oldschool, and a pc fan, here we go:

Baldurs gate 1&2
Eye of the beholder (👈real oldschool)
Black crypt
Torment
Knightmare
Not really sure but this one anymore as my memory starts getting cloudy at this point but: elvira?

Rpg has always been my most favorite gaming genre

I re-beat the first Final Fantasy a few months ago lol - I really enjoyed the first three that came out in US of that series. Also the Breath of Fire series were good RPG games. 7th Saga, Chrono Trigger are both classics. Geez I gotta think about this more...

I'm playing ff8 and ff9 now on ps3 ! Dare I say 8 and 10 are the best ff games of all time the item systems and gfs are awesome !
