I've got some questions
Forums › General Discussion › I've got some questions-
There's a mule, who I won't name because it's against TOS. He thinks it's not cheating to have a mule. So I have some questions:
Does a mule give you a leg up on other players?
He just very recently tore down turf, so do you still have an egde money-wise after your mule is gone?
Is having a mule cheating?
Is having a mule against TOS?
Can you sue and have a chance of winning over getting reset?
Can Support reset you for having a mule?He doesn't agree with these. So I'd like to see if I'm mistaken. No support, I'm not going to call him out on the forums. I'd just like some honest answers.

One more. He bribed me to shut up about it. Is this against TOS? I really don't know the answer to this one.

I'd say that he is guilty. Mules are cheating.

Second accounts are fine, as long as they stay withing the rules.
The TOS says that you can have a second account as long as it dosent give your main account an advantage, such as large tax flowers, cap trails, and joining you in a V.
Mules that do those things are cheating, and punishable by Banishment from the game Completly. -

Using real money to try and buy an account, a players silence, or an attack is against TOS. -

Muling is not against tos. You can give yourself turf flowers if you want. You cannot use the mule to aid in attacking another players. Eg: a 'unnamed' causer of HAVOC vs funky buffalo. Or in a v. Almost anything else is fair game. Tho, looked down on unless youre in a big alliance.

How about bribes? Are they against TOS or bannable?Subparagraph xiii of section I of the TOS states that a person cannot "use multiple accounts in a manner that is unfair to other player or is detrimental to fair gameplay," as determined "solely" by the developers.
nick previously has addressed this issue in the forums. Basically, he said the using a mule account to gain an advantage in a vendetta violates the above-cited language of the TOS. That's about it.
Mule accounts also are frowned upon by most players. Players caught using multiple accounts can expect to be severely treated by other players. But this is a function of the game's culture and self-policing nature of gameplay.

Bribes can considered welcome... And to the discretion of the bribed. If I was you, I'd have taken the bribe and spent it on don points. 👍
If I were you'd I would give up trying to nail this guy on terms of TOS and just make him a target.
You're flogging a dead horse, my friend. 😉

Subparagraph vi of section I of the TOS states that a person must not "engage in any suspicious activity." In addition, the TOS states that the Rules of Use are not meant to be exhaustive and the devs reserve the right the right to determine what conduct it considers to be a violation of the rules of use or otherwise outside the spirit of the Service.
In other words, nick has the sole discretion to determine what conduct violates the letter or spirit of the "law of the land" and take whatever action he seems appropriate, including terminating an account and/or barring a person from participation.
Let you good conscience be your guide. In the absence thereof, I suggest the following: if you don't want others to think you are an @sshole, don't act like one.

What our dear friend OTB is saying is...
If you choose to take a bribe in future. Be sure to make the deal outside of the TW community. Take it as an iTunes card, then buy don points. 👍
Even the lord turns a blind eye occasionally, I'm sure our TW creator and followers can do the same. 😃 🙏
