I think a while back I put a post out about people in stores who make change for you. When a bill comes to 2.20 I like to give people a 5.00 bill a quarter only to receive the quater back plus 3 additional quarters a nickel a 2 dollars.
TODAY took the 🎂
Total bill $2.52
Handed over $20.00
the guy behind the counter told me he ran out pennies.
Received $18.30 back
WTF how does anyone come up with that

I had the same experience yesterday. I bought $20 worth of stuff and gave the clerk a coupon for 25% off. She rang it up. That will be 19.71. So I ask how much did the 25% take off? She took off 75cents. I asked her to call her mgr. He at first told me she was right. LOL

yea Lace an stilettos isn't that great anymore.. Temptations, Hott22, Johnny A's or Mr B's.. I like hott22 and Mr B's the girls wanna go home with me and they don't charge!! Temptations is good but there mostly Latina and use alot of fake tan! I had bun prints on a new shirt.. They get freaky for $20!! Honestly I don't know 1st, 1st hand. My boys nasty ass pays

yeah that's a good one as well. How the hell you get to 19.71 but also think it's right just kills me 😱

When was the last time someone actually counted your change back the right way? The traditional way is to start with the amount owed and count up to the total amount you gave them:

Bill: $14
Give: $20
Change:
"($1) that's 15, and ($5) 20. Thank you."

It's pathetic that I have to spell it out like that, but I don't think most people know what I mean if I don't. It's a product of putting the bottom of the workforce on the cash registers.

The other day my total was $5.11 I hand her $20.11. She hands me $14 and in the I'm-too-stupid-to-count-change cup comes out 91 cents. She said I gave her only 2 cents. Now I know I didn't, but if I did, why would she proceed to continue without saying something?
