Ingrown toenail
Forums › General Discussion › Ingrown toenail-
I have an ingrown toenail. I've had it for about 4 months now, I thought it went away but I was wrong it is now super duper painful and almost off the whole side of my toe thruogh the skin. If anyone has any ideas on relief or fixing it that would be helpful. My paint tolerance is probably about 7/10 thanks

I had or have 1 on each foot in, I understand the pain and hate it when ppl step on me, you have to get them removed at a clinic

Put cotton under the nail between it and the skin to lift it up away from the skin. If you can keep the nail pulled away from the skin it could grow out but most likely you'll need to go to a podiatrist and have it removed if it doesn't get better.

You need a doc to cut it out. Nothing else will work; not even self-surgery.I have an ingrown toenail. I've had 3, twice I went to my doctor for him to surgically remove it. The third time I did it at home by myself with tweezers, a nail file, and a paper towel, which I do not recommend.

Just cut it off... Drink 1/2 bottle whiskey in 10 min... wait 10 min and presto..

Pull that bitch out!

Definitely shouldn't be punching codes. That's not good for ingrown toenails.

I used to get them a lot. I would cut the side of the nail, and pull the skin back and then pull the nail out with tweezers. That helped the pain for a week or 2 but then it grew back. Finally I went to a clinic and had it removed (on my left big toe) about a year later I got one on my right big toe, thought I'll take care of it myself. Like before it helped for a week or 2 then came back. Went to the clinic and got it removed. I haven't had anymore since. It's been 6 years. But make sure you goto a podiatrist tho

Best to get it looked at by a podiatrist and get it cut out... I had one for 6 months and refused to go but when I did the relief was amazing!!!I have an ingrown toenail. Thank you all

I cut mine out all the time. I allow them to grow in so much.....then snip and rip 😁. I love the feeling of pulling it out of the skin. Aaahhh soooo nice. Don't let it go too long tho....I did as a kid and they cut half the nail off with tin snips and pliers lol. Cool to watch

I had to get surgery at some clinic for mine. Injected numbing stuff into all my nerves and it still hurt like heck.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we are going to have to amputate the toe and two fingers.

Both my big toes had one for about three years when I was younger. One day my mom said we have insurance now lets go take care of them lol. Best feeling ever getting rid of them. Plus you save money in socks.

Agh. Don't remind me about this. I just cut the nail when it gets too long and painful.

Dipshit im not a pussy I've fixed this one before by sticking a skrew driver down under the nail to the bottom then popped it out. Now it grown back but this time it's too painful to do that.Stop being a pussy and grab some tweezers and rip the little fucker out!! Once it's out the relief is nearly orgasmic!!

Hahha my bad I didnt mean to upset you buddy. What I do is grab it with the tweezers and psych myself up then just rip it out. I do have a higher than normal pain tolerance though.

If you got a mrs don't let her know you're using her tweezers either cause mine blew up delux when I told her hahahahahha
