Both. Sublime is my favorite band & "Under the Bridge" is my favorite song. JUST got into them? You're behind the times, my friend.

Peppers own -
Sublime's self-titled album is like Bob Marley's "Legend". The radio plays most of those songs till your ears bleed. IMO, 40 oz to Freedom is the best album, Second-Hand Smoke was underrated & Robbin' the Hood & Brad Nowell's acoustic album, "Bradley and Friends" are only for true fans. There are a couple greatest hits CDs- "Stand By Your Van" & "Gold", which aren't necessarily "greatest" hits as much as they are "most popular" and of course they're a collective compilation from all of the others.

RHCP & STP was one of the first shows I ever went to when I was like 14. Anthony Keidis & Scott Weiland both had Mohawks on that tour. It was very cute bc you could tell they planned it.

Definitely don't discount this one, though. Check out the second half of it. Pure gold. 40 oz though is one of those rare albums though that's just...flawless.Sublime's self-titled album is like Bob Marley's "Legend". The radio plays most of those songs till your ears bleed.

Oh man I love "Bradley and Friends"

As for RHCP, "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" is a classic, though it's VERY different from most of what they've done in the past 10 years. To be honest, I can't remember "What Hits?" Californication is probably more..listenable to a novice, so to speak; very good, kinda one I never get tired of. Favorite track: "Roadtrippin'".
"By the Way" had a lot of radio hits. I actually never bought "By the Way".
There may have been one more album since then that I can't think of.

How have you not listened to these bands before!? Haha
To start out of Sublime, I suggest getting their 40oz to Freedom album or their Selftitled album. Both have well known tracks. And for a seasoned Sublime fan, they need to check out the box set Everything Under The Sun. It's got TONS of uncut tracks that the band fooled around with. It shows the try talent of the band and how down to earth they are/were...
If you like RHCP and Sublime, check out this band from Kona, HI called PEPPER! they're Reggae-Rock and their songs such as B.O.O.T. and Stone Love are dope!

My taste in music drives my wife crazy. I'll be listening to something like John Denver or James taylor and switch to godsmack or disturbed.

They're a Reggae Band from Santa Cruz, CA that throw in metal riffs here and there...
I got to see them in Feb. @the Filmore in SF. The whole venue was packed with 3 huge ass mosh pits the whole concert!
